Browse sections
This public summary explains how Amish Products Association separates governing authority, reserved powers, and day-to-day operations. The full internal governance memo is reserved for Association operations and authorized personnel.
Governance Authority
The Board retains governing authority and reserved powers. Routine administration may be delegated to authorized roles, but those roles act only within the authority granted by Association governing documents, policies, and approvals.
Reserved Decisions
Major decisions about governing documents, membership rules, dues, producer participation, legal posture, data governance, system control, policy approval, and other reserved matters remain subject to Board or authorized approval.
Operational Roles
Operations, support, marketplace administration, producer coordination, vendors, committees, and other participants may support the Association within assigned responsibilities. Delegation does not replace the governing authority reserved to the Board.
Member-Facing Effect
Members and applicants should use the public policy pages, Membership Application, account status notices, and support channels for the current customer-facing process. Internal delegation rules do not create public purchasing access by themselves. Purchasing access requires approval and active membership status.
