This storefront uses Shopify platform features plus a small set of theme-owned browser storage keys. This page describes the current implementation so policy language stays aligned with what the storefront actually does.

  • pma_recently_viewed_v2 in localStorage stores a bounded recently viewed product list containing product ID, handle, title, image URL, and producer label for on-site convenience.
  • pma_session_id and pma_anonymous_id in localStorage store pseudonymous identifiers used by the theme analytics and observability runtime.
  • pma_announcement_rail_state_v1 in localStorage stores whether the announcement rail has been dismissed.
  • pma_auth_state_v1 in localStorage stores limited storefront membership-state context used to keep lock-state messaging consistent between page loads.

The theme runtime sets a consent state on window.PMA_Analytics_Context. The default state is denied for non-essential analytics until Shopify Customer Privacy controls or an app-controlled banner provides a more specific state. When consent is denied, analytics-class events are blocked and emit blocked-by-consent telemetry instead of normal analytics payloads.

Color-mode preference storage, recently viewed convenience storage, and operational observability remain theme-controlled behaviors. The theme does not write cookies directly through document.cookie. Shopify and installed apps may still add cookies or similar technologies through platform-managed scripts rendered in content_for_header.

Some scripts are controlled by Shopify or installed apps rather than this theme code. Their exact cookie names and retention periods can vary with the active store configuration, so this policy should be read together with any Shopify Customer Privacy controls or app-managed consent notices shown on the storefront.
