Understanding the Move to Amish Products Association
If you knew a prior website, paid for something described as lifetime membership, or are simply trying to understand what Amish Products Association is now, this article is for you.
We know transitions can be confusing. This page is meant to explain the current Association calmly and plainly, without accusations and without asking you to decode internal legal language.
1. A New Association Structure
This is not simply a change of website. Amish Products Association is a current membership association with its own Membership Agreement, dues schedule, approval process, good-standing rules, producer relationships, and member marketplace.
Amish Products Association is a separate member-driven Private Membership Association. It has its own governing documents, membership levels, and rules for who may purchase through the member marketplace.
If you participated through a prior website or prior membership arrangement, that history may help you understand why you are here, but it does not automatically make you a current APA member.
2. Why Current Membership Matters
Membership is how the Association knows who has been reviewed, who has accepted the current documents, who is paying current dues, and who is in good standing.
That matters because APA is not a public commodity storefront. It is a private association marketplace for traditional farm foods and carefully selected goods, with rules for application, approval, product availability, and member conduct.
Current membership keeps the relationship clear for members, producers, and support personnel. It also protects the integrity of the membership process for everyone applying now.
3. What This Means for People Who Used the Prior Website
If you used a prior website, you may remember paying a membership fee, seeing lifetime wording, or holding an account there.
Amish Products Association respects that you may have questions. We also need to be clear: prior website membership arrangements do not automatically carry over to APA.
Prior website membership payments do not create current APA membership, approval, good standing, checkout access, dues credit, or lifetime status.
Anyone who wants to participate in APA now must follow the current membership process.
4. No Lifetime Memberships in APA
Amish Products Association does not offer lifetime memberships.
If you previously paid for something described as lifetime membership on another site, that wording does not create lifetime membership in APA and does not bypass current membership requirements.
APA's current membership levels are published on the Membership Levels and Dues page and in the Current Membership Dues Schedule.
5. No Complimentary Membership Category
Amish Products Association does not offer complimentary memberships as a public membership category.
Historical complimentary membership references from prior systems do not create a current complimentary APA membership status or checkout access.
6. Why Prior Payments Do Not Become Current APA Dues
Payments made to a prior website or prior membership arrangement are not current APA dues.
APA does not automatically credit prior payments toward current dues, membership activation, or product purchases. There is no automatic old-site discount, legacy-member discount window, or grandfathering based on prior-site participation.
This is not a comment on what happened elsewhere. It is the current APA rule so that every member participates under the same published documents and dues schedule.
7. APA Is Separate from Amos Miller's Organic Farm
Amish Products Association and Amos Miller's Organic Farm are separate.
Amos Miller's Organic Farm is a separate producer/supplier and the Founding Producer of Amish Products Association. Amos Miller may serve on the APA Board, but the Association and the farm are not the same entity.
Members do not purchase directly from the farm through the APA site. Members join Amish Products Association and purchase through the APA member marketplace.
8. How Products Move Through APA
Members join Amish Products Association. Producers, including Amos Miller's Organic Farm as Founding Producer, supply products to the Association. The Association may then make selected products available to approved members in good standing through the APA member marketplace.
Product availability depends on Association rules, producer capacity, season, product category, location, shipping or pickup availability, and operational capacity.
Producer profiles help members understand who supplies products. They do not mean members are buying directly from producers through APA checkout.
9. How to Apply Now
If you would like to participate in Amish Products Association now:
- Review the Membership Agreement, By-Laws, and Current Membership Dues Schedule.
- Submit a Membership Application.
- Accept required acknowledgments.
- Wait for review and approval.
- Activate approved membership and remain in good standing.
Until approval and good standing are in place, you may browse public product information, but member pricing and product checkout follow current membership rules.

10. How to Ask for Help
